Crazy for Typography

 I'm an absolute fanatic about Typography.  Darren Booth's use of color and texture is really something.  They are all aesthetically pleasing on multiple levels.  His treatments aren't just type, they're art.  If you like art at all, it's worth heading over to his WEBSITE to take a look at his entire collection!

Finally, Flying Cars

  Flying cars, hover boards   Hollywood has led us to believe these things are way overdue.  Well if you've been sitting on the edge of your seat for this advanced technology you're in luck!  Company Terrafugia is planning on selling to the public in 2 years.  Craaazy.  The car is a sedan / private jet that will be able to fit in a garage.  Read more about it HERE.  Will you consider buying a personal flying car?

Color Me Modern

I LOVE everything modern, and these beautiful mailboxes are an excellent example of modern design.  Made by Australian  company Playso, but doesn't look like it is available in the states.  Sad Face!  Check out more awesome pics of the Koo Koo mailbox HERE!

Uncommon Art, Everyday Structure

This installation was created with chain link fence with pieces of plexi glass inserted between chain.  It's crazy how something so simple and everyday can be arranged that results in absolute beauty.  Artist Soo Sunny Park has really created something amazing!  Check out more pics and the full post HERE.

Crazy Paper Cut Outs

Holy crap talk about patience!!  Artist Peter Callesen must have a whole lot of it.  Paper crafts never cease to amaze me.  I can't even imagine trying to cut out something this intricate out of a piece of paper.  Check out the full post and more awesome cut outs at Picamemag.

Cinemagraph GIFs

You've probably heard of GIFs, but have you ever heard of cinemagraph GIFs?  I hadn't either until I cam across it at allthatisinteresting.com.  They are basically GIFs that have only one or two elements that move.  I'm so use to seeing GIFs that have cats running into walls or something equally as busy or funny.  It was really refreshing seeing aesthetically pleasing GIFs.  Here are two examples, but you absolutely have to check out the full list of 43 HERE!  They will blow your mind!
